Unif Shoes

I have seen these shoes on Solestruck but never really thought anything about it. I have been seeing people with a lot of spiked ballet flats lately. I guess that is one of the latest trends? The special thing about Unif's spiked flats is that they are unisex,  I like that. Hellseeker is questionable to me. It looks like a shoe that someone institutionalized would wear, without the spikes of course because that would be dangerous... yikes. I like Hellbound because the heel is the same color as the..... body? of the shoe. (I don't know proper shoe lingo, sorry). Oh, and Solestruck claims that they are super super comfy. The only thing that makes no sense to me is that the flats are called Hellraiser and the platforms are called Hellbound. I guess they were trying to be rebellious? Weird.

Finsk 2012

I don't even think I need to say anything about these shoes. They truly speak for themselves. I made a post about the designer of these shoes about a year ago. She is amazing. They are so meticulously and beautifully designed, yet they are completely wearable. They are all priced at around $1000.00, but I think they are worth it, don't you? Think about how jealous all of your friends will be and how you will always be the girl with the coolest shoes in the room. Or maybe that is just what the mind of an attention-seeking brat like me thinks. Either way, they are pretty fucking rad. They are selling out of sizes at solestruck.com, so you better act fast if you can afford these.

Jeffrey Campbell Fall 2012

Jeffrey Campbell Fall Shoe preview.
I am really looking forward to this fall season. It is definitely the BEST season for everything. Cozy sweaters, boots, Halloween, seasonal beverages at Starbucks, cinnamon apple candles (amazing).
I love it all. For me, once August comes I like to pretend like fall is almost here. But we still have over a month of summer to go. But it tends to go fast.
I don't even know what the fall trends are this year. I saw something on Elle.com that mentioned "Granny-Chic" being one of the trends. Gross. I'll stick to the classic sweaters and and leather moto-jackets.

To Be Announced Shoes

I discovered a new shoe brand today. Maybe you have heard of To Be Announced. I gotta say I am kinda digging it. They offer a lot of "flat-form shoes. I think I like them because they bring me back to my childhood. You know, when the Spice Girls ruled the world and so did their crazy platform sneakers. I used to pray to god for a pair of Spice Girl sneakers for Christmas. My Mom ended up buying me some K-mart knock off, half-assed version. I finally ended up getting a pair of sketchers that were ok, but not high enough for me. But then again I was only 9 and I couldn't fit into women's shoes.

I tried to research this brand to find out what country they originated from. I found their website and it stated:

"To Be Announced is tougher than your dad. To Be Announced is bigger than your hometown. To Be Announced cares less than you do. To Be Announced is in a relationship, but it's complicated. To Be Announced--keeping it real since 2011."

I guess that is all anyone needs to know, since the shoes speak for themselves. Most of these are under $200 at www.solestruck.com . Not too shabby.

Acne

Great name for a shoe brand, right? Although I think a name like Eczema or Rosacea would make them sound a little more luxurious.  I kid, I kid.

Anyways, about these shoes. I hope they are of the utmost quality, because none are under the $600 price range. I do think they have some unique designs, but I don't think unique enough for the price tag. I don't know. I guess they must look really amazing in person. But what exactly does a middle-class girl know about luxury shoes? Not a damn thing.

A Fantasy Shoe- Feminine and Masculine

I call these my "fantasy shoe." Not only because they look some kick-ass female japanese anime assassin would wear them, but they are pretty pricey. I wish I could afford these. But then again, when the hell would I wear them? Maybe if I got into S&M and started frequenting fem/dom clubs of some sort. Ok I am exaggerating, these are practical for other things, such as frightening children.
If you are a trend-setter with a few extra $ to spend, these shoes are for you. These definitely aren't for the barbie type.
