To Be Announced Shoes

I discovered a new shoe brand today. Maybe you have heard of To Be Announced. I gotta say I am kinda digging it. They offer a lot of "flat-form shoes. I think I like them because they bring me back to my childhood. You know, when the Spice Girls ruled the world and so did their crazy platform sneakers. I used to pray to god for a pair of Spice Girl sneakers for Christmas. My Mom ended up buying me some K-mart knock off, half-assed version. I finally ended up getting a pair of sketchers that were ok, but not high enough for me. But then again I was only 9 and I couldn't fit into women's shoes.

I tried to research this brand to find out what country they originated from. I found their website and it stated:

"To Be Announced is tougher than your dad. To Be Announced is bigger than your hometown. To Be Announced cares less than you do. To Be Announced is in a relationship, but it's complicated. To Be Announced--keeping it real since 2011."

I guess that is all anyone needs to know, since the shoes speak for themselves. Most of these are under $200 at www.solestruck.com . Not too shabby.

Acne

Great name for a shoe brand, right? Although I think a name like Eczema or Rosacea would make them sound a little more luxurious.  I kid, I kid.

Anyways, about these shoes. I hope they are of the utmost quality, because none are under the $600 price range. I do think they have some unique designs, but I don't think unique enough for the price tag. I don't know. I guess they must look really amazing in person. But what exactly does a middle-class girl know about luxury shoes? Not a damn thing.

A Fantasy Shoe- Feminine and Masculine

I call these my "fantasy shoe." Not only because they look some kick-ass female japanese anime assassin would wear them, but they are pretty pricey. I wish I could afford these. But then again, when the hell would I wear them? Maybe if I got into S&M and started frequenting fem/dom clubs of some sort. Ok I am exaggerating, these are practical for other things, such as frightening children.
If you are a trend-setter with a few extra $ to spend, these shoes are for you. These definitely aren't for the barbie type.

Dolce Vita

I usually find Dolce Vita's shoes to be a little too ordinary for me, but I actually like their latest collection. Some are actually a bit too "unique" for me. You'll see what I mean.

Long Time No Shoes!

Wow, It has been a while. I have had a a hectic year with school, a baby and other things that have prevented me from looking at pictures of shoes. Man, I kinda missed it. I have been checking out Jeffrey Campbell's latest items, and they are pretty crazy.
Some of them are a bit beyond what my imagination can comprehend regarding practicality. I am not the most creative dresser, in fact I am quite boring. I just don't feel comfortable being too different or cutting edge.  But I know there are some fashion experts who know how to rock it.  I will show you some of my favorites and some that leave me a bit puzzled.

Nonetheless, they are all make for awesome shoe porn. :-)

Jeffrey Campbell Cleata
I love this shoe. These definitely can be practically worn during the day time and would pretty much go with anything. There are three additional colors available. These are definitely bad ass.
Jeffrey Campbell Lita Cosmic
Jeffrey Campbell Skultini

Jeffrey Campbell Lita Red Silver

I like these even though they are multicolored. They are neutral enough to be worn with many different outfits. If you're an astronomy nerd these would be perfect for you. ;-)

I think I am going to buy these, I love ballet flats and these are  edgy but conservative enough not to stand out like a sore thumb. I prefer the black and gold variation the most.

Although these are silver, they aren't as dramatic as the Lita Metallic Silver. These have the right amount of uniqueness and practicality to be worn out in public. Love the red laces.

Jeffrey Campbell Lita Lace
I really appreciate that JC added some softness and femininity to Lita. These are the perfect summer shoe, so you better buy a pair before summer is over. There is always Spring '13, but I am sure there will be dozens of more shoes to buy by then.
Jeffrey Campbell Lita Metalic Silver

These are a bit too Tin-Man from the wizard of oz for me. Unless I plan on wearing these on Halloween, I seriously can't think of a practical way to wear these. But I am sure someone can and will. I told you, I am boring. :-(

Jeffrey Campbell Lita Black White Stripe

I want these so bad. These would pair amazingly with a brightly colored outfit. These can definitely be worn year 'round too.

Jeffrey Campbell Nokea

Jeffrey Campbell Vicous Fuschia

This shoe is questionable to me. I like the shape, and the fact that it is trying to mimic pants covering your shoe, but how will that material hold up? I can only imagine it getting caught onto something and ripping. I don't know, maybe I am just paranoid.

These are yummy. This is my favorite color choice of the four. I really like pink on my shoe, even though I don't wear pink.
